The perpetual discount for rural Canadians:
Are you a shopper who doesn’t have a local yarn store? Well, we aim to fix that and give you the closest thing we can - virtually. Now, we can’t be just down the road from everyone but what we can do is support local and Canadian fibre artists, send out samples so you can actually get a sense of the yarn, as well as evaluate it according to our famous (or infamous) bra strap test and give a discount to every shopper who is a rural Canadian. So often we rural Canucks feel like everything has an extra tax just to get it to our out of the way locations - we’re trying to equalize things a bit.
How will you know if you’re rural? Here’s a bit of trivia. You’ll know if you’re a rural Canadian by your postal code. If the second digit is an 0 - then you’re considered rural by Canada Post and by us. Ours, for example, is V0B 1G8. So, if you’re rural - let us know so we can send you the super secret rural shopper code. Even if you just think you might be and even if you don’t have an 0 as the second digit of your postal code, contact us to see if we can make you qualify!
Contact us and we’ll give you the super secret code to get 5% off on all orders all of the time - just because you’re rural.
The other running discounts - preorders and large amounts
If there’s something specific you want but we don’t carry that colour, have sold out or don’t have it in stock (but could get it) you can contact us about a preorder. We will discount the item - at least 5% but it could be more depending on what it is so make sure you contact us!
Also, if you need a large quantity of a particular item, please do contact us because we will offer discounts for that as well. We have already had orders from sample knitters and indie dyers for larger amounts.
And yes, as of right now, you can combine these offers!
